Uzbekistan’s first low-cost carrier HUMO Air has started flying to four destinations from December 15, 2023. Now residents and guests of the country can fly from Tashkent to Samarkand, Karshi, Nukus and Urgench. Flights are made daily on comfortable AIRBUS A320 airplanes, and ticket prices start from 159,000 soums.
The first flight on the Tashkent-Urgench route was attended by HUMO Air representatives, airport management, bloggers, journalists and spotter photographers in addition to passengers.
“We are pleased to open a new route from Tashkent Airport to one of the busiest destinations for Uzbeks – Urgench. Our goal is to increase passenger traffic and make traveling around the country even more comfortable and affordable. Together we will be able to offer more convenient flights at low prices,” said representatives of our airline at the opening ceremony.
“I live in Urgench, but I often come to Tashkent for work. But now I am glad that I can quickly and cheaply get to Urgench, and most importantly, I can celebrate the upcoming New Year together with my family. I would like to see more such convenient flights across the country,” said a passenger aboard the plane.
